I’ve pretty much been left speechless from what has transpired over the last few weeks. To date, we’ve had 80 different donations and have managed to raise $7000 to sponsor families this year. Thank you thank you thank to everyone involved!!!! I’m still in shock saying $7000!!!!
For those that have been following along, you’ll know that I cut donations on Friday November 15th. We needed a number to give to Good Shepherd so we could figure out how many families we would be able to affordably sponsor. We started receiving our families today and can’t wait to begin the shopping.
As of today, we have re-opened the donations! Any money that comes in from now till November 29th will be added to the current families. Most likely we will add it to their Christmas Grocery Gift Cards which will hopefully allow them to also have an amazing Christmas family dinner 🙂
