2012 was the first year we did a Friends With Hearts wrapping party. The idea started from emails I received from a few individuals asking if there was another way they could help out because they couldn’t afford a donation at the time. I definitely did not want Friends With Hearts to revolve completely around money so I came up with the idea of a wrapping party. A time where anyone could come and help out. A time to listen to Christmas music, eat cookies, wrap the gifts we purchased for the families, but most of all, we did it together. With the success of the party last year, it has officially turned into a huge part of the Friends With Hearts model and will continue to be an annual event.

Here is the details of the wrapping party:
Date: Sunday December 8th 2013
Time: 1pm
Location: The Jackson House Hall at Battlefield Park in Stoney Creek, 77 King St W, Hamilton, ON L8G 1H9.
There is lots of parking and the Jackson House is located on the Battlefield grounds, nearest house to the parking. There is a set of stairs to go down from the outside of the building that will enter the hall.

We will have everything needed for wrapping the gifts. We just need your hands and a great smile 🙂
