friends with hearts New York City

Julia Brucculieri
Group Leader

I’m so excited to be working with Friends With Hearts again this year by leading a group in New York City. I moved to Brooklyn a little over two years ago, and when I was asked if I was interested in launching a group here, I jumped at the chance. I lead a group in Toronto in 2014 and a group here in the city last year. I can’t wait to do it again!

But before I write too much, I want to say welcome to all of those who are visiting my page with an interest in getting involved. And second, I want to say thank you! With your help, we’ll be able to help families in need here in the big city.

For me, this is a great opportunity to give back to the city I currently call home. I’m looking forward to getting together with other members of the community to bring a little bit of holiday excitement to those who are less fortunate.

If you’d like to get involved directly, you can contact me via email (j.bruccul@gmail.com), or if you’re interested in donating in the New York area, you can donate via PayPal (the donate button is at the bottom of this page) or Venmo (@juliabruc). If you choose to use Venmo, just write FWH as the reason.

For any further info you can check out the FAQs below, or read this message from our founder, Jay Perry.

Here’s to another year of spreading Christmas cheer!

frequently asked questions

No, FWH is not a registered charity nor does the group have to be. We work with local charities, non-profit organizations, schools, and churches to support their holiday giving programs. We advocate that 100% of our donations goes toward the families – to include gifts, gift cards, food, cards and wrapping paper.
